The Parikh Foundation

Give hope to those who need it most!

Mission and Vision:

With more than a million dollars donated to worthy causes and organizations, Drs. Sudha and Sudhir Parikh hope to take philanthropy to the next level - building partnerships with sister organizations interested in uplifting the poor and marginalized communities whether in Mumbai or Miami; Gujarat or Georgia; Maharashtra or Mississippi. Alabama or Andhra Pradesh.

With the dual tragedies of COVID-19 and its effect on India and the U.S., as well as the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, we are even more energized to engage in furthering equality and social justice goals in our country of birth and our adopted country.

We see a window of opportunity to work more closely with US-based partners, to implement development projects that benefit marginalized Americans in inner cities and rural areas as well as in villages in India; share experiences; learn from each other, and contribute skills and strategies to overcome poverty and build self-sustaining communities that offer a superior standard of living.

The Parikh Foundation partners include:

Project Life
Resident Indians settled abroad wish to contribute significantly to our sacred temple of service, Project Life. Due to the surge in such benevolent humanitarian services, Friends of Life Globally setup partner charity programs in UK and in the USA. Efforts are ongoing to do likewise in Canada, Australia and other potential geographies where there is a large base of kind hearted brethren who wish to significantly contribute to their Motherland for a better tomorrow. While each of these not-for-profit, Global Partner Charities of Project ‘Life’ are separate entities, the collaboration is primarily in terms of knowledge exchange alone and where applicable transfer of funds strictly in adherence to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) with the sole objective of transforming lives of our less fortunate brethren in India.

Share and Care
The Share and Care Foundation®, born 1982 in New Jersey, is the brainchild of a small group of Indian-Americans. Share and Care began with a very simple idea: Convert what is considered "waste" in the Western world into much needed help in the East.
